All banks in Pakistan are participating in this scheme. Employees can obtain loans of up to 20 lakh rupees from banks at an interest rate of only 5% to 8%. The repayment period is up to 20 years, with fixed interest rates in different cases.

The government has launched a new housing finance program called “Mera Ghar – Mera Ashiana” to make housing more affordable. As per details on the State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) website, the scheme provides a markup subsidy and risk-sharing support so people can get housing loans more easily. It is available for all Pakistani citizens with a valid CNIC who do not already own a house.

میرا گھر میرا آشیاں اسکیم 2025 حکومت پاکستان کی جانب سے متعارف کرائی گئی ایک سہولت ہے جس کا مقصد کم اور متوسط آمدنی والے خاندانوں کے لیے گھر کے حصول کو آسان بنانا ہے۔ اس اسکیم کے تحت شہری زیادہ سے زیادہ 35 لاکھ روپے تک کا قرض حاصل کر سکتے ہیں جس کی واپسی کی مدت 20 سال تک رکھی گئی ہے۔ حکومت ابتدائی 10 سال کے لیے سبسڈی فراہم کرتی ہے جس کے تحت شرحِ سود ٹیئر 1 میں 5 فیصد (20 لاکھ روپے تک) اور ٹیئر 2 میں 8 فیصد (35 لاکھ روپے تک) ہے۔ قرض کے لیے صرف 10 فیصد رقم بطور ڈاؤن پیمنٹ دینا ضروری ہے جبکہ باقی رقم بینک فراہم کریں گے۔ یہ اسکیم تمام کمرشل بینکوں، اسلامی بینکوں، مائیکرو فنانس بینکوں اور ہاؤس بلڈنگ فنانس کمپنی کے ذریعے دستیاب ہے تاکہ ملک بھر کے شہری آسان شرائط پر اپنے گھر کے مالک بن سکیں۔
How to Apply for Mera Ghar Mera Ashiana Scheme 2025?
- Visit any participating bank / HBFCL branch.
- Request and fill the housing finance application form.
- Submit documents: CNIC, income proof, property papers, affidavit (no prior house), and 10% equity/down payment proof.
- Bank will assess credit, property value, and eligibility.
- If approved, sign the agreement and loan will be disbursed.
- Repay on subsidized terms: 5% (T1) or 8% (T2) markup, up to 20 years.
