This year, Punjab has introduced new policy regarding the annual exam of 5th and 8th classes exam 2026. PECTAA is special authority which is going to conduct 8th and 5th grade exams in February 2025. Students who are studying in public and private schools of Punjab have to pass PECTAA exam. Teachers and students must complete their assigned syllabus. Admissions are being started on 3rd November 2025 to 15th November 2025. 5th class exam will be held on 9th February 2025 and 8th class on 16th February 2025.

Minister of Education has cleared about the new examination policy of eight and fifth classes. Punjab Board PECTAA Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority has ready the outline of exam and declared the main dates of examination. Soon, students will be able to download Punjab 8th and 5th class roll no slip by the official website pectaa.edu.pk.
